Terms of Use

Last updated: August 9, 2026

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the tools are

Depth Paper provides free, browser-based wallpaper tools: generators that render seeded gradients at exact device resolutions, size charts, and two checkers that analyze a photo locally. Everything runs on your device with your browser's own capabilities, so results can vary with browser, operating system, and hardware — the color values of a seeded wallpaper are deterministic, but the downloaded file's bytes can differ between browsers because their PNG encoders differ. These are personalization utilities, nothing more: they make no decision about money, health, employment, or anything else of consequence.

Your wallpapers and your photos

Wallpapers you generate here are rendered on your device from the site's original palettes and are yours to use freely, personal or commercial, with no attribution required. Photos you load into the checker tools remain entirely yours: the site claims no rights to them and never receives a copy — they are read by your browser and go nowhere else.

No account, so nothing to terminate

There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile. You are not a user of a service in the ordinary sense; you are someone loading a page that computes something. There is nothing for us to suspend, close, or lock you out of, and nothing for you to cancel.

We hold nothing, so we can restore nothing

No server of ours holds your wallpapers, your photos, your device choice, or anything else you do here, so there is no backup to fall back on and no support route that can produce one. On this site that costs less than it sounds: any generated wallpaper can be re-rendered, identically, from its recipe link — the seed, palette, and device in the address bar are the complete wallpaper. If you make something you want to keep, keep the link or the downloaded file; those are the only copies that exist, and both are in your hands.

No third-party code

This site serves no third-party code of any kind: no libraries, no frameworks, no external scripts, no font files, no embedded content from anyone else. Every line of code it delivers is original, first-party work. There are consequently no open-source component notices to publish here — not because they are hidden, but because there are no components.

Device names and trademarks

Device and product names on this site — iPhone, iOS, Pixel, Galaxy, and others — are trademarks of their respective owners, used only as factual references to the devices people own, so that a wallpaper can be matched to the right screen. Depth Paper is independent: it has no affiliation, sponsorship, or connection with Apple, Google, Samsung, or any other device maker, and nothing on this site is a product of theirs.

No warranty

The site and the tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be available, that any render will complete on any given device, that a listed resolution matches every unit ever manufactured, or that a wallpaper will look the way you hoped once your phone's own display settings have had their say. Verify anything that matters before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the site — including a wallpaper that renders differently than expected, a lost link, or any consequence of setting, sharing, or printing an image made here. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it abusively, present it as your own, or use it in violation of applicable law. Load into the photo tools only images you have the right to use.

Changes

The tools and these terms may change over time. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the updated terms; the date at the top of this page tells you when it last moved.
